    Come here. It’s Quiche.

    Get closer. The weekend is approaching and that means lazy mornings with luxurious brunches. Quiche is simple enough to make but the ingredients can be as complex as your cravings. I jammed maple bacon, gorgonzola cheese, sweet onions and spinach into this one. It was everything my heart needed. Fully sweet and salty yet also tangy and rich with the creamy texture of that cheese and the buttery crust.

    Pancake Face

    I’m developing a new habit. It’s called breakfast. And I’m not talking about the granola-bar-and-coffee, or Starbucks-and-a-muffin kinda breakfast. I’ve decided to wake up and cook myself a respectable meal every morning. It is, after all, the most important meal of the day and the time you can consume the most calories. This is the fuel you’ll be burning off for the rest of the day, so go for it!

    Open Omelette

    Do you know what it means to wake up and make yourself a breakfast like this? It’s a love letter to yourself. And this open faced omelet whispered: “I love you, Chaundra” Repeatedly. The cheese smiled at me. This lil bit of chicken sausage gave me a wink. That bit of tomato said, “You’re so special” And the carmelized onion kept giggling. Their final words were: “Now go out there and have a great day!” I encourage you to make yourself a good breakfast, too. Fill it full of your favorite things. Then sit there in front of a sunlit window and eat it in silence. You’ll feel the love too. I promise.…
