Labor of love

I’m giving birth to some new things over here.

With a newborn in the house, I mean that in both the literal and figurative sense. There is something about becoming a new mother that makes you feel pretty invincible, hopeful and optimistic.

My baby has motivated me to get on with it.

Life.

That includes but is not limited to this blog.

I’ve been in and out with it for years, but baby Grace has ignited something.

Me. It’s me. I’ve been reset, recalibrated and I’m ready.

After years being stuck in the pattern of wake, work, sleep, repeat, I’m tired.

I can’t fake it any longer. I’m finished ignoring my desires to be me. I’m about to use my talents to the fullest. Writing and cooking are the things I do best. I’m going to make a living out of this blog once and for all.

I’m going to do it one step at a time.

Stick with me as I revamp this piece of internet.
