Grateful: Day 7, The Right to Vote

It’s election day.

I have the right to vote and I’m going to use it.

I fit into two categories of people who weren’t always allowed to participate in this country: blacks  and  women.

This afternoon, I’m heading straight to the polls to exercise my right and I’m grateful for that.
