Guacamole
Summer = Mexican food + Margaritas. It’s been a lovely summer. I’ve enjoyed a few road trips, lots of tacos, and quesadillas, melted cheese and rice & beans. But who can eat Mexican without some essential condiments? Salsa, Pico de Gallo and my favorite is guacamole. Avocados are so cool and creamy. Before the season changes again, I beseech you, make some guacamole.

Cilantro Lime Steak
Why am I doing this to myself just before bed? Just looking at this picture makes me want to run out and buy some more steak and do it all over again. But I can’t. I won’t! It’s close to midnight and the only comfort available at this moment is a cold bowl of generic Cocoa Puffs. Excuse me, I’m sure you don’t want to know all of that. What’s important now is this steak. Stepping Out!
This is pico de gallo sitting atop a fried plantain. I ate it for breakfast. I had to. I’m sampling the pico at a networking event and needed to taste test. Someone has to do these things, might as well be me.
